Pakawaste Welcomes Norman Bowes

Norman Bowes is Pakawaste’s newest member with over 37 years experience in the hire and waste industry. Pakawaste's Managing Director, David Hamer has appointed Norman the role of Business Development Manager.
Norman’s key responsibility will be to ensure the growth of the service department and associated products. Norman will also be tasked with the development of Pakawaste Municipal Hire as well as Pakawaste’s newest product, PakShare Waste Analysis system.
David and the Pakawaste team would like to give a warm welcome at this very exciting time of expansion.

Come down and visit us on stand 900, visitors will be able to see some of their most popular machines, one of which, is the MX600, this machine produces true mill size bales and could provide extra revenue for your company. Their VB80D which is a vertical multi chamber baling press with compaction up to 6 tonnes of pressure, perfect, if you’re short on space, yet still want to recycle plastic and cardboard.
The LF1100 is a powerful compactor designed to increase payloads of wheel containers. This machines helps reduce waste disposal costs an can minimise the number of wheeled containers required. Also on display will be the Powerkube XL Baler, a great machine for producing mill-sized bales with an extended loading aperture.
The Ideal 5009 Shredder will also be on display, reduce the risk of confidential material getting into the wrong hands, this powerful shredder even shreds paper clips, credit cards, CDs and DVDs.
The Pakawaste team will be on hand to greet visitors, offer hospitality, give free advice and answer any enquiries regarding Pakawaste’s wide range of bespoke waste management equipment.
Information packs and support literature will also be made available to all visitors to the Pakawaste stand.

'VT Environmental Wakefield'

Pakawaste have delivered and installed the first of 3 autoclave loading systems to VT Environmental in Wakefield. This is the largest machine ever built by the company. The 3 loaders and autoclave systems will process 150'000T/yr of MSW. 60% of the feedstock will be converted into a fibre product, 20% will be separated metal, plastics and glass for recycling and 20% or less will be for disposal. These figures meet or exceed the EU landfill diversion targets.
