Pakawaste's maintenance and response services are centrally controlled by the Preston based maintenance and service management team. Lines are open Monday to Friday during normal working hours (8am to 5pm) taking emergency breakdown calls, organising work schedules, emergency cover, arranging services and offering customer service support.
Pakawaste’s 30 strong team of engineers are strategically deployed throughout the UK facilitating a quick responsive service. All Pakawaste engineers carry a full complement of tools and commonly used component parts to ensure that breakdowns are repaired immediately, when and wherever possible. In the unlikely event that a machine cannot be repaired by the attending engineer due to part requirements, Pakawaste can supply all own label parts within 24hrs and have a network of suppliers available to immediately respond to demands for third party parts. To avoid excessive downtime that could affect business profitability and lead to a deterioration of service, Pakawaste are able to rent replacement machines from our own extensive fleet of compactors, balers and shredders, subject to availability.
24hr Response Support Cover can be adapted to supply around the clock 24hr Critical Response Cover should your business have a specific requirement; this provides call out cover 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for specified locations and equipment.

Full 24hr Response Support Cover, provides for breakdown response Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm, which serves the vast majority of our customers requirements.
Where business practices and objectives demand, Pakawaste are able to adapt this service to encompass critical cover providing 24/7 access to our engineers. Out of hours emergency calls are directed to our nearest available standby engineer ensuring a speedy response.
Inclusive Maintenance & Critical Support
If you need to combine maintenance and breakdown cover Pakawaste has the perfect solution, The All-Inclusive Maintenance Agreement. The agreement combines routine maintenance services with emergency breakdown response cover delivering a ‘trouble free’ waste handling equipment package.
The All-Inclusive Maintenance Agreement encompasses all UK breakdown call outs Monday to Friday within normal business hours (8am to 5pm). In addition you will receive equally spaced preventative maintenance visits per annum carried out by our own fully trained engineers and covering all aspects of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, oil/grease and operational maintenance.
This agreement also has the added value of including all machine component parts.
