Pakawaste Machines Go Off Roading With Land Rover

Pakawaste's machines are supplied to a number of industries and placed in a variety of places but the latest location for two of our balers is by far the most challenging yet.

VB56_on_site.JPGThe UK's market leader in the manufacture and supply of waste handling equipment has supplied two VB56 vertical balers to Land Rover's ulitmate adventure - their G4 challenge.

Commencing in April approximately 18 men and women from 18 nations supported by nearly 200 staff and journalists, will battle it out for 1 month matching strategy, stamina and skill in this demanding 4x4 multi-sport challenge. This challenging vehicle based adventure spans from South East Asia to South America but, outside of the iconic cities there are no luxuries of checking into a hotel along the way. Challengers will be armed with a tent and the appropriate refreshments to go with camping. But what happens to the waste?

Pakawaste has risen to the waste challenge and supplied two VB56 vertical balers. These machines will be mounted onto the back of a truck along with a generator and will follow the convoy up hill and down dale ensuring all the ready made meal packaging, cardboard and plastic waste generated by the challengers is disposed of successfully.

The VB56 can reduce waste by up to 90% and is suitable for cardboard, paper, cans plastics and shredded papers. It is easy to load by hand from above and has a large disposal/filling aperture. The material is compacted with up to 6 tonnes of pressure. Pakawaste also produce a VB56 mini version.
