Pakawaste Provide Waste Topping

A leading pizza manufacturer in the UK has come back to Pakawaste to upgrade their compactor.

P2000_with_bin_lifted2.JPG Stateside Foods in Bolton, Lancashire, are an existing customer who originally had a Portakrush 2000S static compactor which they loaded by hand.

The company are suppliers of chilled and frozen pizza's to the leading retailers so as the demand for their products grew, so did their volume of waste on site meaning Stateside Foods required a larger compactor - the Portakrush 2000HD version. The HD model is the heavy duty version again designed to handle difficult food waste.

To compliment the bigger and better machine for their waste handling needs, the company also required a more efficient loading system. Pakawaste recommended adding a bin tipper system to the compactor which is designed to house and lift up to 1100 litre wheeled containers.

With these modifications in place Stateside Foods are now benefitting from the loading of waste. It is quicker and easier as the handling point has improved dramatically.

Pakawaste's Portakrush 2000 is one of the larger compactors in the Portakrush range and has excellent ram penetration with its twin cylinder design. As well as the HD version Pakawaste also produces a standard S machine.

Tests have proven the Portakrush 2000 is capable of achieving payloads averaging 9.18 tonnes. As demonstrated at this company the machine can either be loaded by hand or mechanically with an integral hydraulic tipper which will accept up to 1100 litre wheeled containters. The tipper can be fitted on either the left or right handside or at the rear of the machine. Safety screen options are available.
