Pakawaste has been providing maintenance packages for over 40 years, helping customers to get their waste management systems operational as quickly as possible.
As well as offering this service for our own equipment, we are also able to carry out comprehensive maintenance on equipment from other manufacturers. This is extremely convenient for many reasons, such as manufacturers no longer operating or being unavailable for urgent assistance.
Types of cover:
We offer three types of maintenance agreements: preventative, all-inclusive and 24-hour response.
Pakawaste preventative service, is there to give you peace of mind that your waste handling equipment can always be relied on to operate. Our team of experts will carry out a full range of checks, from ensuring your machines are performing as efficiently as possible to free operator training.
The engineer will carry out a comprehensive preventative maintenance service in accordance with the Pakawaste maintenance checklist, which covers all aspects of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, operations and lubrication / greasing. All works will be scheduled for a designated month to fit in with your schedule, making it extremely convenient for all kinds of business owners.
This service does not cover equipment breakdown calls between service visits and additional charges will be incurred for any parts, hydraulic oil and filters required, which is something to bear in mind when choosing your agreement.
For new Pakawaste manufactured and Refurbished machines, our all-inclusive maintenance agreements are known as the ‘trouble-free’ package as they cover both routine and breakdown cover all in one.
This package encompasses all UK breakdown call outs that occur between typical Monday to Friday business hours (8am to 5pm) and Pakawaste undertakes to respond to all received breakdown calls within 24 hours.
In addition to the breakdown cover, our all-inclusive clients will receive preventative maintenance visits from one of our fully trained engineers each year. They will cover all aspects of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, oil/grease and operational maintenance on the machines, as well as replacing any components without any added cost.
24-Hour Breakdown Response Support
Pakawaste 24hr Response Support Cover is a UK wide breakdown service, operating Monday to Friday within normal business hours (8am to 5pm). Pakawaste undertakes to respond to all breakdown calls within 24 hours.
24-hour critical response cover is also available from Pakawaste, which gives you access to our 24/7 emergency hotline. This maintenance package gives around the clock coverage and if you need out-of-hours support urgently, our nearest available standby engineer will be sent out to your location rapidly.
Please note that additional charges will be incurred for any parts and consumables such as oil, filters and wear pads.

What we do:
As part of our third-party maintenance, we carry out a wide range of checks and tasks which are tailor-made to meet your individual requirements and equipment.
Our support hotline is open from 8am-5pm from Monday to Friday. When you call, the team will ask a few questions to give a better idea of the problem, before advising on a fix or booking an engineer visit to your premises.
However, if you have taken out a critical cover contract with us, we will respond 24/7 to your concerns and send the nearest engineer out to you as soon as possible.
