Pakawaste are pleased to announce that we have made it to the final stage of the BIBAs for the 3rd consecutive year. Our company has been shortlisted as finalists for 3 award categories; “Manufacturer of the Year”, “Service Business of the Year” and “Exporter of the Year.”
This is the biggest and longest running business awards programme in the Lancashire. Each year, the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce who organise the event receive more than a thousand applications, which makes it even more of an achievement to have reached the final stage.
The BIBAs have become highly prestigious and are often described as “the one they all want to win.” There are a total of 18 categories this year which includes awards for the “Most Inspiring Business”, “Best Use of Information Technology” and “Excellence in Customer Service.”
Industries that have entered the BIBAs this year include marketing professionals, healthcare providers and construction experts. These awards give businesses from a wide range of backgrounds the opportunity to enter, which is what makes the awards so special!
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be visited by the official panel of BIBA judges. This will give us the chance to demonstrate how we work as a business and what our company does. Once they have gained a better understanding of Pakawaste, we hope that they will award us with this highly prestigious award.
The BIBAs ceremony will take place on the 11th September at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. This is always a great evening filled with food, drink and entertainment. We are looking forward to spending time with the other applicants and hopefully we will be able to take at least one award home at the end of the night!
Pakawaste wishes all of the other finalists the best of luck and we look forward to hearing the results!
